• Punter Mike Scifres agrees on a five-year extension

• Steelers defenders are aging, at least 30

  As the public are talking about Steelers’ aging defense, the coach Mike Tomlin choose to ignore or negate it. In Tomlin’s opinion, it’s not true. “I know their age has been something noteworthy, something to be talked about," Tomlin told reporters Tuesday. "But when I look at them, I don’t look at them and see age. I don’t look at them and see dollar signs. I look at guys that put their head in the pile, and are committed to doing the job to the standards that we hold them to.

  Of course, they have many aging defenders, but at the same time they also have lots of young interesting guys that wear wholesale NFL Jerseys and back them up. “We’re not fighting any stereotypes and darts being thrown our way. • Palmer is expected to be back to Bengals

  It’s reported by ESPN that the guy wearing new orleans saints jerseys met with Bengals general manager Mike Brown in late July at Paul Brown Stadium. The Bengals are looking forward to seeing the disgruntled quarterback come back.

• Miller is predicted be the 2011 NFL defensive rookie of the year

  Today the NFL Network and NFL.com experts released their predictions for the 2011 NFL awards, of course, it won't be finally decided until the end of the season. Among which is the guy wearing authentic nfl jerseys will be the 2011 NFL defensive rookie of the year.

  In 2011, Von Miller joins Elvis Dumervil as the two most important guys to what should be the league's most devastating pass-rush.

  Miller came away from three quarters of play on Saturday against the Seattle Seahawks with two and a half sacks. It was all his own speed and strength that led to each of his attacks on quarterbacks. Miller showed an excellent capability of speeding around and in-between offensive lines.

Williams faces 3-4 weeks out with a dislocated elbow. It was estimated that there will be around 15-17 sacks for Miller in 2011.

• Lance Briggs is seeking for a pay rise

  Though Lance Briggs in authentic nfl jerseys is seeking a pay raise, Briggs pledged he won't be a distraction, either.

• Hine Ward talked about Steelers condition

  The guy wearing new orleans saints jerseys joined WCNN in Atlanta to talk about the state of the Steelers.

  When asked whether he thinks the Steelers can make it through this week’s preseason game without multiple injuries along the offensive line, Ward sad, “Yeah, yeah, we can do that. They’ve got some quality guys, but it’s really about what we did, it’s not really about what they didn’t do. You know, we did go to the Super Bowl last year, we’ve got a great nucleus of our guys coming back. So it was just great for us to put on a great game against a great team last week.”

• Much expectation for Bryant, much to learn

  Cowboys’ wide receiver wearing authentic nfl jerseys saw his rookie training camp and season cut short from unfortunate injuries but played well enough despite not having a clean grasp of the offense to at times show magical brilliance.
  There is no doubt that Bryant has enough talent，but he doesn’t know how to set defensive backs up with his routes.
  The best plays that Bryant makes are when he can go vertical or carry his route across the field. Where Bryant is an outstanding receiver is when the ball is in the air. His ability to go get the football is outstanding, but there needs to be much more than that.

  It will be Robinson’s job to teach Bryant there is more to being an NFL receiver than just swimming your man at the line and trying to get vertical. Bryant will need to learn that when the depth of the route calls for 12 yards, you run in at 12 and not at 10 or 14. He needs to learn that on the fourth step on the slant he is to plant his outside foot and get inside because the quarterback needs him there or it is probably going to be an interception.
  There is so much promise for Bryant but still so much to learn.

• Sherman: Von Miller’s sacks should be spread out

• Matthews shows his humor in front of the camera

  His developing sense of humor and comfort in front of the camera was hinted at when the Packer appeared in a spoof ad on Jimmy Kimmel just after the Super Bowl. Note to hair care product brands, an offer of $1 million to Matthews to cut his hair will win you plenty of copy, but he didn’t accept that; the star has repeatedly said he will "never" shear his locks. Matthews hair has its own Facebook page.

  Though Matthews in Custom saints jerseys isn't quite a householdy-enough name yet, it’s just a matter of time.

• Polamalu wants to be treated fairly by Steelers

  The long-haired guy who wears No. 43 Troy Polamalu Steelers jersey must be the one who really makes Steelers extra special on defense.

  For all he’s done so far and for all that’s still to come, Polamalu needs to be compensated just like his teammates who got new contracts.

  Yes, Polamalu is now a 30-year-old, ninth-year pro. His hard-driving style of play is taking a toll on his body. When he’s on the field, there is no one like him. With respect to Baltimore’s Ed Reed, Polamalu is the NFL’s best safety. He is the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year. And right now, he’s healthy.

  Reporters circled Polamalu and asked if there’s anything in the contract for him Tuesday after practice.

  “These contract talks should stay between me and my agent,” Polamalu said.

  When asked if he’d be disappointed if a deal didn’t get done before the start of the regular season — that’s the Steelers’ traditional cut-off day for any contract talks — Polamalu said “We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.”

  Even though he was born in California, went to high school in Oregon and now lives in San Diego during the off-season, Polamalu wants to finish his career wearing new orleans saints jerseys.

  Though he would be paid a large sum of money if he’s not extended by Sept. 11, what he wants most is the deal from Steelers. He deserves that much. And there’s still plenty of time to get a deal done.
